Grief & Trauma Recovery

Navigating Loss and the Long Shadow of Trauma

Who This Is For

This service is for anyone carrying the weight of loss, overwhelm, or the long shadow of earlier experiences. You don't have to be in the middle of a fresh crisis to benefit from this work; often, clients come to me when they realize the past is still tugging on their present..

You might be here because:

  • You are grieving: Whether it is a person, a relationship, or a future you expected to have, you are navigating a loss that feels heavy.

  • The past keeps showing up: You are managing memories or physical reactions that arrive without warning.

  • You feel constantly on guard: You feel stuck between who you have been (surviving) and who you want to be (living).

If you are ready to move through your life with more steadiness and clarity, we can get there together.

How I Work

Quieting the Echoes
When the past keeps echoing, our job is to help quiet it down. Many of my clients learned to read a room before they could read a book. That hyper-vigilance kept you safe back then, but it is exhausting you now.

Pace & Consent
I move at your pace and consent is built into every step of the process. Together, we create a space that feels safe enough for your nervous system to settle and strong enough for your story to be held with care.

The Frameworks
My approach blends trauma-informed care, attachment theory, and interpersonal neurobiology. In everyday language, that means we work with both the story you carry and the way your body learned to protect you. We help your system update old patterns so you can respond to life from a grounded place rather than a guarded one.

Tracking Real Change
We track change over time—not just by what you say in the session, but by how you live your life. We look for shifts in how you sleep, how you set boundaries, and how you move through your relationships.

What Healing Looks Like

Healing grief or trauma is not about forgetting what happened. It is about loosening its grip.

Through this work, many clients notice a sense of settling they have not felt in years.

  • Physical Relief: Feeling more "room" in your chest or shoulders.

  • Safety: Daily interactions feel less like navigating landmines.

  • Compassion: Your inner voice becomes kinder and less critical.

  • Choice: You begin to choose how you respond, instead of reacting out of fear or habit.

Over time, you will feel more whole, more present, and more connected to the people and parts of life that matter most.

Alternative To Talk Therapy

I have a certification Accelerated Resolution Therapy. ART is a fast-acting, evidence-based therapy that some clients prefer over talk therapy.
