Individual Therapy
“I want you to get excited about who you are…what can still be for you. I want to inspire you to see that you can go far beyond where you are right now.” - Virginia Satir
Individual therapy is for older adolescents (15+) through adults of any age who want a grounded, honest, and supportive place to understand themselves more fully.
Many clients come to me not because of a single crisis, but because patterns feel stuck, relationships feel harder than they should, or old wounds are showing up in the present in confusing ways. Whether you are launching into adulthood or looking back on a long career, I offer a space to make sense of your story.
Who This Is For
My Specialization
Women in Mid-Life (40-65)
While I work with all genders and ages, I hold a distinct specialization in supporting women navigating the complexities of mid-life.
I understand the unique pressure of this season—often caught between aging parents, launching children, career shifts, and the physical changes of aging. If you are tired of holding it all together for everyone else, this is a space to finally focus on you.
How I Work
With more than twenty-five years in the field, I have let go of the "polished therapist voice" and stepped into a radically authentic style of practice. Who I am in session is who I am in real life: direct, compassionate, and fully present.
An Active Partnership
Therapy with me is an active process. You won't be talking into a void while I quietly nod. I am an engaged, reflective participant in every session, helping you name what feels painful and identify exactly what needs to shift.
Sometimes that looks like honest, direct feedback. Other times, it looks like a moment of shared laughter to make the work feel more human. But it is always grounded in safety, respect, and collaboration.
The Frameworks Behind the Work
While our conversations are down-to-earth, my methods are rooted in deep clinical expertise. My approach integrates psychodynamic, attachment-based, cognitive-behavioral (CBT), family systems, trauma-informed, and neurobiological frameworks.
In simple terms? We work from the inside out, using tools that support meaningful and lasting change.
