  • I currently offer in-person sessions on Mondays. I also have virtual appointment options on non-Mondays.

Please note: ART sessions are always conducted in person, as this allows for the structure and pacing that make the work most effective.

  • I believe therapy should be accessible, and I reserve a limited number of reduced-fee weekly appointments for clients experiencing financial hardship.

At this time, I do not have any additional sliding scale openings available, but you’re welcome to contact me to discuss future availability.

  • Like many specialty providers in private practice, I do not bill commercial insurance directly.

If your insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits, I’m happy to provide monthly invoices (superbills) that you can submit for reimbursement. Depending on your plan, this may cover a percentage of the fee after your deductible is met.

Many clients find that, given rising premiums and deductibles, paying privately is often comparable to—or only slightly more than—using in-network providers.

I encourage you to contact your insurance company directly to verify your coverage.

You may be asked for a CPT code:

    • 90837 (53–60 minute individual therapy session)

Please note: most insurance companies do not reimburse for couples therapy unless one partner is identified as having a mental health diagnosis and designated as the “patient.”

  • I accept:

    • FSA and HSA accounts

    • All major credit cards

    • Venmo

    • Zelle

  • I typically see individual clients once per week, especially at the beginning. Weekly sessions allow the work to move forward at a steady, supportive pace.

That said, frequency is something we will discuss together during your first session, once we’ve clarified your goals and what feels sustainable for you.

  • I require 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.

I understand that life happens. At the same time, therapy is only as effective as the time, consistency, and resources you’re able to commit to. Honoring your standing appointment is an important part of the work.

Because I hold appointment times specifically for each client, I need 48 hours’ notice in order to offer that time to other clients who may be waiting. Appointments canceled or missed with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee.

Thank you for respecting this boundary and the care it helps support—for you and for others.

  • This is an important question. Choosing a therapist is an investment of time, energy, and resources—and fit matters.

You’ll want to consider both logistical factors (availability, location, format) and personal factors (training, experience, personality, and how you feel in the room).

To support this process, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation. This gives you a chance to ask questions and get a sense of how I work. I recommend coming prepared with the questions that matter most to you.

It’s also common for clarity to develop over the first few sessions. Therapy is a relationship, and like any relationship, it benefits from openness and honest communication. We can talk directly about any questions or concerns as we go.
